PROGRAM DIRECTOR

The dynamic nature of the Program Director position requires a seasoned leader to strategically design, develop and implement a core program while mobilizing engagement with corporate partners, philanthropists, volunteers and the community at large. With innovative thinking and pragmatic implementation, the Program Director will integrate cross-functional communications, evidence-based initiates, and technologically advanced strategies to optimize both organizational performance and community impact. This role will prioritize the execution of a sustainable program model with a data-driven approach to ensure that all fundraising efforts support The Good Deed Project’s community impact model and revenue goals. In partnership with the CEO, the Program Director will provide a united, visible, and strong leadership presence across the organization and throughout the community served.

The ideal candidate is:

A detail-oriented self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills who has prior experience in the nonprofit and architecture/design/construction/FF&E industry at an executive level.

A trustworthy, reliable, and conscientious individual who exhibits sound judgment in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining the ability to prioritize decisions best suited for the organization's growth and sustainability.

A confident, articulate leader with a professional demeanor who is stellar at cultivating relationships with stakeholders including government officials, community leaders, captains of industry and local influencers.

An energetic and resourceful team player who fosters a high-performing, collaborative and inclusive environment with staff and volunteer force.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field, master's preferred.

Five (5) or more years in a leadership or senior executive role with responsibilities of high-level organizational strategic planning, program design and evaluation, performance management, and development and management of large teams; experience in the nonprofit sector is a plus.

Must have high proficiency in administrative functions and excellent tech/computer skills with proficiency in Google & Microsoft Office suites, Airtable, JotForm, CRM systems, and planning tools; proficiency in AutoCad, Sketchup, and Adobe Suite is a plus.

Must have exceptional communication skills including verbal, written and visual for a diverse range of demographic audiences and purposes.

Successful record of cultivating resource partnerships and donor relations resulting in five, six, and seven-figure gifts; grant writing and capital campaign experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
With guidance and oversight from the CEO, the Program Director will be responsible for the design and implementation of infrastructure for a new program; each quarter, program data will be reviewed for efficacy, adherence to set milestones and identification of areas for improvement. A Project Manager and Administrative Assistant will report to the Program Director and be support staff for the full execution of a successful program ensuring all efforts support The Good Deed Project’s community impact model. The Program Director will evaluate and manage overall service capacity and outputs during the program planning phase, and will incorporate best practices in the development of community partnerships, securing resources, recruiting volunteers and spreading community awareness required for overall organizational and fiscal health.
