OUR MISSION
who we are
OUR MISSION
YOU CAN CHANGE A LIFE! We are a sustainability-focused, volunteer-based organization that provides life-transformative, healthy and safe living environments through home rehabilitation, renovations and repairs for children, families, seniors, veterans, special needs individuals and those living in circumstances beyond their control that affect their health and well-being and prevent them from thriving mentally and physically. Community development is at the heart of what The Good Deed Project does, with focus on “health and home” and the goal of developing the potential of our volunteers, those we serve and the neighborhoods they live in.
Our vision is to measurably contribute to both the urgent and long-term needs and overall well-being of the most vulnerable in our community, with the intention of fostering thriving neighborhoods and brighter futures — one good deed at a time.
OUR COMMITMENT
DIVERSITY Jamie manages a team of volunteers who proudly carry out our good deeds in the community; it’s a diverse group of volunteers that represents a great balance of genders, ethnicities, economic status, career paths and LGBTQ+ individuals, ranging in ages from 3 to 76 years old. But while our volunteers have demonstrated fierce dedication to our mission, our program is limited to the availability of volunteers and outreach is relative to available funding and resources such as storage.
